NCAA Football Betting – BCS Races In For Tight Finish
The college football betting season is set for a close finish, with the top-four teams in the BCS rankings still all very vulnerable to change. Black Friday will serve as the key date for the majority of potential for change, as three of the top four teams in the rankings are all in action. No. 1 Oregon and No. 4 Boise State will each battle the final ranked opponents on their schedule, with the Ducks taking on No. 20 Arizona and the Broncos clashing with No. 19 Nevada. Oregon can move one step closer to clinching their spot in the BCS championship while clinching their second straight PAC-10 championship, while Boise State can close the gap between them and No. 3 TCU with another big win. The biggest challenge will go to No. 3 Auburn, who play their annual Iron bowl game against No. 11 Alabama.
While Oregon and Boise State each appear to be online sports betting locks to keep or improve their position, the story is much different for the Tigers. The defending national champion Crimson Tide will not get the chance to defend either of their SEC or BCS titles, but do have a shot to spoil Auburn’s party. Alabama head coach Nick Saban will have his team playing this game like its their own personal championship, and that may be enough to end the Tigers’ run. If you are playing college football on Black Friday, stick with the Ducks and Broncos, but beware of the Tigers as the Crimson Tide loom.
