NFL Betting – Primetime Favorites Are Locks For Week Seven

NFL

It seems as though every sports betting week there has been at least one favorite that spoils the sports betting party for everyone, and while for most that team has been the San Francisco 49ers in each of the past two weeks, they can stay clear of that slap in the back this week if they keep an eye on the primetime games for week seven. The New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens could very well represent their conferences in the Super Bowl this season, but for now both teams will concentrate on sending a message against inferior opponents as they prepare to show the NFL world what they can do.

The Saints are at home on Sunday night to host the winless Indianapolis Colts, which haven’t been this awful since they actually played in New Orleans. Curtis Painter is a far stretch from Peyton Manning, and without the key pieces to make up for his loss there are no signs that the Colts’ winless skid will come to an end anytime soon. While New Orleans should dominate that game at home as they look to bounce back from a pay head loss to the division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers and recover sole possession of first place in the NFC South, the Ravens should have no problem on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Monday Night Football has been pretty lopsided over the past couple of weeks with the New York Jets’ dominant win over the Miami Dolphins the latest in the ongoing saga, which Baltimore’s defense should be able to ensure continues this week against rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert and the Jaguars.
