MLB Betting – Doubleheader Baseball The Perfect Opportunity To Progress

MLB

One of the most disliked aspect of the MLB, according to both players and managers, is the days that they have to play the doubleheaders. It really isn’t that big of a surprise, considering that managers have to do twice the work of what they would do on a regular day while the players are the ones that actually have to go out on the field and execute. Not even the fans like doubleheaders, at least in terms of those willing to go out and watch the games, as attendance on average usually dips for these games. But while the players, managers, and fans can’t seem to stand the doubleheaders, they could quickly become a friend of the sports betting player looking for a big score.

The nature of a doubleheader makes it the perfect chase opportunity, which is when you bet on a team to win in a progressive fashion, increasing the amount you lay down or pulling away depending on the results. For example, if you were to lay down o $25 on the New York Yankees to win a game, and they do, then you have now won $25. However if you lose, then according to the theory of progressive gambling you will then place $50 on the next game the Yankees play with the chance to win that game and make a profit of $35 on top of winning back the money that you initially lost. The pay head bookies won’t have the lines that much different for the two games, and with the statistical history of those games favoring a split, there is a better chance to win with progressive betting on the doubleheader.
